The owners of this beautiful century old house in the heart of Irvington Neighborhood came to us to design their new kitchen to blend in with the style of the rest of the house while giving them the modern conveniences of today’s kitchens. Now the kitchen is open to the family room and there are plenty of places around the island in the kitchen or the eating bar set in the new archway for their family and friends to gather. The project was designed conscientiously by choosing non-toxic materials, reuse of oak cabinet doors for butcher block countertop, and careful demolition of century old wiring and plaster.
