Ladd's Addition Attic

Ladd's Addition Attic

When the current owners bought this late 19th Century Victorian style home they saw the potential to finish the upper most floor. The attic’s 1600 square feet was capped by a towering unfinished vaulted ceiling. The addition of an elevator and the regular use of a wheel chair was a factor in the careful selection of materials and the layout of the walls and fixtures. The design has transformed this dark unusable space into a one-of-a-kind oasis for these busy parents.

"Jennifer did a great job for us. We were very happy with her design work and ability to communicate her ideas to us. She also worked well with the team working on the remodel, and it came out just like we visualized it. In an old victorian, the unfinished attic space had amazing potential. My wife and I had the vague ideas that we wanted it wide open, with a walk in closet and a bathroom to make it a master bathroom suite. Jennifer came up with a unique idea to keep it open like we wanted. My wife and I couldn't visualize it, so Jennifer created a 3D interactive walkthrough to show us what she meant, and we loved it. She then worked with the team doing the remodel, and they made it happen....the space that she helped design is my favorite that I've ever been in, let alone owned.
5 stars, and a strong recommendation."
