Laurelhurst Bath
The homeowners have invested much time and energy in restoring their mid-century home in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Portland. The existing bathroom, while original, was cramped and had a pink and green color scheme that needed updating. An angled wall was added, stealing a small amount of space from the closet in the neighboring room. It was a small move, but added big benefits to the remodel. An all-glass shower is not only more functional but enhances the open feel of the space. A custom cherry vanity gives a nod to the old cabinets but lightens and lifts with modern flair.
"Steve Korbich designed a new master bathroom for us in the fall of 2013. He was uniformly pleasant and professional throughout the project--a real delight to work with. He listened to understand our needs and came up with some excellent concepts from which to choose. He helped us select an outstanding contractor to complete the work and was attentive in his oversight throughout the project. We would definitely work with him again."
