Laurelhurst Kitchen
A dated kitchen gets a modern update that not only compliments the mid-century home but provides a much more functional layout. The 'L' shaped kitchen was a challenge. The existing peninsula was removed, setting the range against the outside wall and opening the circulation.
By creating a multi-purpose island in the larger area, we created a seating and working area for casual entertaining. We used a linear LED pendant above the island to provide a centerpiece that unifies the space. All new cabinets, solid surface countertops, fixture and appliances give new life to the kitchen.
"We were lucky to have a repeat client and a repeat contractor for this project. The experience we all had working together before helped the design and building go smoothly and resulted in a wonderful project"
